Minnetonka Grand Entrance

Designed in collaboration with Anna Berglin Design, this remodeling project took a cramped front entry and turned it into a wide open, vaulted and sunny welcoming space with in-floor heat. As we expanded the entry, we also removed the wall separating it from the kitchen to really open the space dramatically. We were able to match the kitchen countertop with the new raised peninsula top at the former exterior wall location. We also reworked the fireplace area to create a cozy sitting area, recalling the owner’s Japanese roots.
